750ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes, and shared with colleagues at CNN's Julefrokost. Clear amber body under a declining off-white head, spotty lacing. Moderate aromas of herbal hops and bread-like malts. Fine balanced taste of cereal malts, grass, and noble hops. Subdued bittersweet ending. Medium bodied. Food friendly, and with fine drinkability.

Bottle, 75cl. An almost clear deep golden colored beer with a nice white head leaving lacing. The aroma has a nice bready maltiness, with fruity, piney and lightly grassy hops. It's full bodied and very soft on the palate, smoothly carbonated, with a gentle bitterness to deal with the sweetness. The flavor has bready malts as a backdrop for fruity hops. Medium length finish. A pleasant one indeed, although a bit sweeter than I'd prefer. 230922
