Sampled @ Camping Ratebeers 2015. Pretty hazy yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste are both a bit weird, slightly grassy, herbal, slightly bitter. Low body and carbonation. Don’t like it.

@Camping Ratebeer 2015, het eerste wat er opvalt na het inschenken is het aroma, het komt binnen als gerookte makreel/paling iig vis, schenkt bleek geel/gouden met witte kraag. In de smaken komen de rookmouten en de vis associatie ook weer duidelijk terug, zwakke body, vind overigens de rooktoets iet té en verder niet bijzonder. --- Beer merged from original tick of Grätzer Bier on 24 May 2018 at 16:14 - Score: 5

Clear golden colour, white head. Yeasty aroma, malts, vegetables. Malty flavour, smoke. Light sweet malty finish, light smoke, some yeast.

At Camping Ratebeers. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of smoke, sausage, bacon, raw wheat. Flavour is watery, dry, wheat, light smoke, lemon, watery bitter finish. Light bodied.

Bottle @ camping ratebeer ’15. Hazy golden yellow colour with a small white head. Smells smoked, bacon, smoked eel. Tastes smoked, cigarette, tobacco, malts. Thin body, soft carbo.

Flasche (1 l) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. - Helles Braungelb, milchig trüb; kaum Schaum. - In der Nase mildes, schwach säuerliches Weizenmalz, Hefeweizen-artig, unreife Aprikosen, mild rauchige Noten und ein Hauch von Urin und Leder. - Antrunk zart weizenmalzig aber trocken, blaß fruchtig, milde Zitronenschale. Dazu eine deutliche rauchige, fast angebrannte Note und krautige Herbe. Gut rezent, sehr schlank, trocken. Mild herber Abgang ohne Säure. - Anfangs sehr ungewohnt und fast abstoßend, schmeckt es mit jedem Schluck besser. Nicht so dick wie ein Hefeweizen, sondern schlank, herb und sehr erfrischend. Großartig!

BBE 30.8.2015 - Pours yellowish with a smooth head. Aroma of fruits, hints of mild smoked notes and wheaty notes. Taste is smooth, mildly smoky and leathery with hints of salty wheatiness, yeastiness and fruits. Finish is smooth and mildly leathery with a touch of smoke and yeast. Interesting.

100 cl bottle @ lusikka BBE 30.08.2015, bottles 24.3.2015. Aroma has smoky tones, apricot and bun dough. Also mild urinal tones. Flavour has smoky notes, leather and bun dough. A mild grätzer.
