On tap at the brewpub. A golden colored beer, almost clear, with a dense, white head. Some curtains. The aroma is grainy and sweetish, with pine cones and a grassy touch. It's sweet, medium bodied and pleasantly carbonated, with a rather low bitterness level. The flavor is even more on the grain side than the aroma, borderline popcorn actually, with a light fruityness. Lasting sweet, grainy finish. Well, a bit on the sweet side this one, and I'd like some more fruityness, but it's not a bad one. And at least flawless. 220729

Clear golden color with a fine white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Although some strange notes. Medium body and a bit high carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Way to herbal/grassy for my likings.

Flaske på RBHD-samling hos Sigmund, mars-16: uklar korngul med aroma av hardangerepler, minner ikke om pilsaroma i det hele tatt. Parfymert smak sammen med fløtekaramell. Mild bitterhet i avslutningen. Myk munnfylde, selv om den er overkarbonert. En fin sommerforfriskning, men slett ingen pils i klassisk forstand. Fra fat på ekspedisjonen mai-16 (4 rb-herrer på tur): klar gyllen med fint skum, aroma av blomster, mandel og litt vanilje. Antydning til kokte grønnsaker i slutten. Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting, ABV is 4.7%. Hazy pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma of yellow apples, some dust. Plenty of carbonation in the mouth. Light fruity flavour, fairly refreshing, but not a typical pilsener.

Shared bottle at RB/HD at Sigmund´s at Tau 15.03.16. Cloudy golden. Egg-white head. Aroma of yellow apples. Similar taste, with butterscotch and succade. Quite high carbonation, without achieving much crispness.
