Une ambrée cuivrée, à la mousse blanc orangé dense et onctueuse. En bouche, beaucoup de corps, et de légères notes de caramel rehaussées par une amertume fine.
Malts: Pilsen, Munich, Crystal
Houblons: Nugget, Saaz, Bramling-Cross

Sampler from brewpub Reims as Les 3 Brasseurs Ambree. Pale amber coloured, small white head, mild malty nose. Not so strong roasted malt, caramel and light fruity taste with not so strong alcohol presence. One of the better 3 Brasseurs beer.

En fût au restaurant. Arôme et goût léger de caramel. Pas très pétillante. Une bière qui se boit bien en mangeant.

The one’s the worst one yet. Tastes like nothing decent. Foul, astringent aftertaste. No trace of anything redeeming whatsoever. Avoid this one at all costs. On tap at brewpub.

At Lille brewpub on way home from acbf 2012. Clear light brown beer with thin beige head. Dry malt aroma. malty aroma is fine. i mean all the beers are fresh and brewed ok. no off flavours. really acceptable with just enough chaeacter to make them interesting. some toffee caramel which is verg light and comes on the finish. its fine like all the beers here. competent.

An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, fruit, and dust. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and malt, as well as a light burnt edge, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

Bottled (2nd CS/ES Beer Gathering, thanks SV!). Something between amber and copper colour with mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some resin, mild wood and some fruityness. Flavour is much the same along with some yeasty notes as well. Pleasant.

Hazy lovely amber-red body, small white head. Draught at the brewpub in Lille. Malty, slightly sticky nose. Relatively full. Sweet, nicely doggy food dry taste. Malt-dominated drinkable, some herbal hopiness. Slightly honeyish aftertaste. Not bad really but far from flashy.

Aroma is very faint malts; why are so many brewpubs afraid of a beer having a nice aroma? Body is amber with no head. Flavour is very hoppy amber malts, but it works. Dry finish. It’s tasty, but unattractive.

From tap at the Lyon brewpub. Pours clear and golden amber with a small white head. Aroma is roasted caramel malty and slight breadish. Caramelish and mild fruity hoppy flavoured. Nice bitterness and roasted flavour into the finish.

Clear, amber body. Lightly brown, creamy head. Aroma of malts (caramel and some burnt ones), fruit (apples, plums), some smole. Quite complex and well balanced beer. Moderately bitter, lughtly sweet flavour. Quite complex, very well balanced beer. Bit yeastly flavour, but flavour is dominated (in a good way) by malts.
