Black with a dark head. Bold notes of roasted malt, cocoa, vanilla, sweet malts, sweet and hot booze. Full bodied. Finish has loads of vanilla sweetness and chocolate along with a long warm bite. Drinks heavier than 10%. Nice beer.

330ml. Opaque colour, small beige head. Roasted cocoa, vanilla aroma with bourbon. Some alcohol. Medium to full-bodied. Roasted, heavy spicey licorice flavour. Vanilla, cocoa, wood. Even with "only" 10%, quite boozy.

Bottle. Color: Black, thin light brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, spicy, Bourbon notes, vanilla, boozy hints. Taste: Spicy rye, Bourbon notes, boozy notes, vanilla, liquorice, roasted malt, earthy, hints of nuts. Medium to over medium sweet, over moderate bitterness. Full and smooth body, below average carbonation. Nice balance and complexity. Very nice.

Can from Kvickly, Odder. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate and lots of bourbon. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily and soft. 220125

Can from Kvickly Odder @ Home. Pours black with a nice brown head, light lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, vanilla, light oak, bourbon. Flavor is sweet, roast malt, caramel, chocolate, wood, oak, vanilla, whisky, alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. 261124

Can 330ml @ Sommerhuset. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, oak, vanilla, hint of licorice, leather, caramel, brown sugar and alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long warm, roasted, vanilla, chocolate, oak, coffee and caramel finish. Body full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Can on the Frontier Brush, picked up from West End Drink Station, 08/06/24. Black with a tan head that escapes edgewords. Nose is dark malts, spice, liquorice, molasses, cacao nibs. Taste comprises dark malts, spice, roasted tones, bourbon rip, dried fruits. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced spike of alcohol. Tidy enough BA impy but probably lowest ranked in this series for me.
