On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Hazy brown colour, moderate off-white head. Oaky and malty aroma. Oaky, malty and hoppy flavour, good bitterness, slightly spicy.

Amber with an of white head - Malt aroma with some caramel notes - Malt body with some caramel flavours along with some fruity and herbal hop flavours - Malt with caramel and some fruity flaovurs goes into the finish - This was good

Bottle (sample) at Bjarke Bundgaard Tasting, HavnensVinOgTobakhus 2023. Pours opaque dark chestnut with medium white head. Aroma is intense peanut chocolate bar, caramel, roasted peanut, raisins, vanilla and bourbon whiskey. Taste is very sweet, faint bitter and faint salty. Body is oily with medium carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of roasted peanut, chocolate, vanilla and spice.

Can. An almost clear one, deep golden in color, with a small light beige head. Caramel, some roasted malts, dried fruits, hints of cellar, pine cones and resin, some citrus zest and alcohol in the flavor. It’s full-bodied, warming and quite sweet on the palate, gently carbonated and with a decent bitterness. The flavor has some roasted malts, but mostly it’s caramel, hoppyness as well as alcohol, pine cones and resin. Citrusy, bready hints and even more alcohol. Too boozy this one, but still nice. 231125

0,44 boks fra julenissens verksted i Verksgata, hjemme: lett uklar, mørk rødlig kobber med fnt skum som varer. Knekk, brente mandler, vanilje, brandymarinert fiken, ristet rugbrød, mørke karameller og andre lekkerbiskener - perfekt i novemberkulda. Fin bitterhet i den tørre avslutningen. Jeg må nok legge neste sykkeltur til Hillevåg, denne skal i adventskalenderen.
