(Draught at Café Gollem, Amsterdam, 18 July 2024) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, resin and pine needles. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, resin, pine needles and a balanced citric/resiny bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Decent IPA, but a bit one-dimensional and unrefined. Quite enjoyable.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 10/05/2025 au foodtruck de Canela Fina à Serra Daro.
Couleur ambrée/cuivre, col crémeux blanc-cassé assez tenace.
Arôme plus axé sur les malts avec une approche de APA mais avec ce côté grillé caramel bien placé. Rétro plaisant sur les agrumes dont le pamplemousse et un effluve d'orange sanguine.
Palais sur une base IPA classique américaine, plus sur un effet 'west coast'. Malté passe devant avec ce caractère cristal, grillé, pointe de caramel et pils. Houblonné sur les agrumes, un peu de résineux rappelant le pin. Petite rondeur de bouche avec ce retour caramélisé. Fini plutôt sec et herbacé pour cet effet ail en poudre et cône de houblon frais.

Bottle at the flat in Cadaques. Picked up from a gift shop in Pals. Pours mostly clear copper-gold with a big, frothy off-white head. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of toasted pale malts, sun-kissed pine, melon, orange, a little grass. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderate piney bitterness to finish. Nice throwback style.
