Our Sunstead series captures the essence of perfectly ripe stone fruits, allowing us to savor the warm flavors of summer all year long. The base beer is a blend of one, two and three-year-old Danish Wild Ales aged in Chardonnay and Monbazillac barrels. We racked this onto freshly destoned and crushed Bergeron apricots at a rate of over 600 grams of apricots per liter, and left it to macerate with the fruit for over a month before bottling. This complex, soft and juicy beer tastes almost like biting into a fragrant apricot, transporting you back to the high days of summer no matter when you drink it.

Jens Smagning 26/02/2026 - tart funky apricot prominent, nice body and acidity, lots of rich apricot with a touch of white wine barrel character chiming in, medium, lingering tart apricot infused puckering finish. Great stuff.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a clear golden with a small, off-white head. Tart, farty acetobacter aroma. Medium body, mouthdryingly tart with some apricot notes in the deep. Complex and interesting - fair game for Lambic lovers. 261225

2023 vintage. Orange body, with a small, off-white head. Lovely aroma with lots of cheesy funk and apricot, some straw. Tastes much more dry and acidic. Medium mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes dry, acidic, fruity, a bit funky, with straw, apricot. The nose is amazing, with beautiful rustic funk and ripe apricot notes. The taste is a bit disappointing though, much too acidic for me. Score: 9 / 4 / 7 / 3 / 15
