Backlog, drank 3.11.2021, bottle at Holm, Copenhagen, missing the word extra on label, otherwise an exact match, including ABV. Med-high carbonation. Moderate sweetness, too sweet for my liking, at least as is - with only quite light balancing sourness and tartness. It got med-light apple character complexity, with light funk. Good, easy drinking, but not great, got just enough character to keep you drinking, not enough to get interesting.

75cl bottle. A clear yellow colour. Aroma of sweet and mild sourish apples, sulfur. Taste of intense dry sourish apples, sulfur, dry sourish finish.

750ml wire corked bottle from Fenwicks, Newcastle. Opened with a loud pop. Pale golden amber colour, short-lived bubbly white foam head and aroma of wood, oak barrel, apple, funk, slightly phenolic. Taste is sweetish fruity apple, with tangy funky, woody, oaky, leathery, barrel notes. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi-dry funky finish. Nicely drinkable

75cl bottle from Stori, Bala, drunk after rowing down the River Severn. Pours pale yellow, aroma of distinctive Spanish apple fruit, sour. Taste presents high fleshy apple fruit, pleasant breezy sour edge, medium dry with a nice drinkable sweetness. Quite spritzy and fresh.

Small fizzy shortlasting head. Aroma is strange funky, mold, minerals, stable, paper, shed, blue cheese, chalk, cheese doodles. Taste is strange sour-ish fruity, minerals, paper, stable, sweet apples, sorrel, sour apples, chalk, hay. Medium bitterness, sour-ish mineraly mouthfeel. Just...what the heck!?

75cl bottle from palma, gitte birthday cider happening. clear yellow, small white head. aroma is slightly rubbery, apple and a little bit of funk. flavor is sour and wild apple juice, the sourness is almost taking over, but some sweet apple juice is left in the flavor. Under the sweet apple flavor is a very potent very sour vinegar flavor, it is almost as if the bottle is a mix of overly sour vinegarish cider and fresh apple juice. Overall impression is quite nice, and complex enough to keep you interested.

750 mml bottle tasted on the 19/10/2014. Starts mild and a little sweet. Good bitter taste and bubbly aftertaste. Light body and medium carbonation. Next one please!
