500ml bottle between three on an Irish tasting evening at home on 11th Nov 2016. I slipped this into the session because it has a front label that looks ’Irish’. Worst beer of the night: weak in looks, aroma and taste: poor, watery imitation of an Irish Stout on all counts. That will teach me not to buy cheap Stouts.

Bottle from Lidl, Todmorden. Black with a very thin off white head. Has a roasted malt aroma and taste, but certainly understated and feels slightly thin in the palate.

50 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 24.03.2011
Aroma has some nice smoke, coffee and roasted malt. Flavour has some coffee, roasted malt and hints of chocolate. Basic, but kind of good stout for this ABV.
