Can shared at Bourne, from HOTM. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are malty and light vanilla chocolate to light sweet. Smooth full body.

440ml can. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, vanilla. Taste is sweet, creamy coffee, vanilla, chocolate, roasty, more coffee, bittersweet. Medium bodied, smooth. Lactose acceptable given the style but seems unnecessary with vanilla as well!

Black beer, brown head. Big aroma of coffee as soon as you pop the can. Flavour does what it says on the tin. Lots of rich coffee, some bittersweet chocolate and some sweet vanilla. All backed up with a good malty base, a touch of lactose. Decent body to this and while the flavour is maybe initially, briefly oversweet the coffee and malt more than hold their own. Very nice.
