Pint from the brewpub, nice clear copper with a minimal kaki lacing, but that’s just how they fill up the glasses in the UK. Nose of caramel, malts, bread, biscuits, some light hops. Taste of medium bitterness, medium sweetness, sugar and sweet malts, bread, biscuit malts, some nuts, tastefull however a bit one dimensional, soft carbo, long bitterness in the aftertaste and some burnt caramel, weak body.

Clear amber beer. White head. Slightly sweet, maybe a touch too much. A bit more malt comes through in the aftertaste to balance it out. I think I prefer the bottle.

Bree Louise. Cask. Lightly hazy amber beer, residual pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry. Modest carbonation. Sweetish toffee apple and tangy dried fruits. Some dry bitter at the end. Endearingly English!

Cask at Porter & Sorter, Croydon. It pours deep amber with a thick, dense white head. The nose is earthy, wood, caramel, leather and varnish. The taste is woody, earth, light caramel, brown bread and leather with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Straight-forward. Not bad.
