Using a combination of the finest, characterful hops we could find, Hawkstone IPA is a treat for the senses. With bursts of tropical and citrus, and richness from the malt, it's perfectly balanced with the hop bitterness that runs through

330ml bottle from Canon Hall Farm Shop, Barnsley - clear light amber good white head. Decent quality hop characters, not so bitter, lightly citrus and pine notes, some syrupy toffee tang at the back. Begrudgingly good beer.

330ml bottle bought at a tourist shop in Bourton-on-the Water, Cotswold. Shared with Finn. Pours a bubbly chalk white head leaving spotty lacing behind, next-to-clear amber-gold body. Inviting aromas of grassy hops and grainy malts. Rather rich taste character with moments of green hops, grass, and mid-sweet malts followed by leafy hop bitterness to the ending. Like it. (Tromsø, 07.06.2025).

Bottle on 15th May 2025 from Waitrose via Deliveroo. Pours an almost clear, coppery amber with shallow off-white foam. Nutty malts, leafy hoppiness and a pungent note in aroma. Grasses, rounded citrus and a hazelnut malt in-mouth. A complex finish comprising the aforesaid. Engaging mouthfeel and a medium body.

Bottle from the brewery whilst passing by and drunk at my 50th birthday bash - amongst many other things. The best way to describe the flavour is agricultural. Very agricultural. Not unpleasant, but you have to like agricultural flavours. Did I say it tastes agricultural?

Large foamy white head on a very active clear amber coloured body.
Ashtray, citrus & malt aroma.
Medium bodied, foamy with a cloying back.
Berries, perfume, floral & biscuit tastes with a peppery sweet malt finish.
Nicely balanced.
