Can. Near clear dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth but light bodied dark malts, slightly watery in flavour but, there is still good dark chocolate and caramel cream here. Fairly rich coffee but, only with a light presence, comes through on the back end. Airy and semi dry finish. Tasty but lacking richness and body for me.

deep dark brown, almost black colour, almost an inch of dense brown head; aroma of tonka bean, dairy cream, coffee, hot chocolate, some vanilla and slight cinnamon notes; taste is quite the same; great beer!

440ml can. Black pour with consistent tanned head. Aromas of coffee, tonka, vanilla, cocoa dusting - nice freshness to it. Taste follows, nice creaminess, sweetish at first then a building bitterness with tonka, roast and spice flavour in the finish. Medium to full bodied, creamy. Excellent.

Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have lots of coffee and vanilla. Too sweet and feels quite artificial.

Can. Nose is latte, wafer, Easter egg chocolate, cream, vanilla, ice cream. Taste is filter coffee, lightly fruity leading to coffee, wafer, vanilla, slight ash, licorice, hint of cola. Finish is slightly spicy. Better balanced than expected

Can thanks to a Sharon super market sweep, sat outside Todd station post 105/376 Members Day '24, 02/08/24. Pitch black topped with a khaki head. Nose is tonka bean, chocolate, dark malts, vanilla, dark malts. Taste comprises cocoa powder, tonka, spice, roast malts, molasses. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Tidy tonka machine... top drawer supermarket bier.

440ml can. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived, frothy dark tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, milky, toffee caramel, tonka beans. The flavour is strong sweet, with silky smooth, rich, roasty liquorice, earthy, toffee, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation and an oily mouthfeel.
