Can shared in London - cheers to Fergus. Pours black-brown with a frothy, tan head. Medium sweet flavour with sturdy ashy roast, hearty dark malts, bit of booze, earth, raisins. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, more shy roast, scorched earth. Sound.

Craft Beer Junction bottleshare, thanks to Fergus. Opaque black brown beer, good bubbly tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Fluffy dark malts, a thin dry dark malt sweetness, thin dark chocolate and dark chocolate malteasers. Decent fruits, a mix of ripe fruits and a much lesser brighter fruit. Light and semi dry finish. Not bad but 2 stellar hops, Sabro and Zappa, lost here, which is a real shame.

Can split at the CBJ share, thanks to Fergus, 11/01/2024.
Black topped with a good sized tan head.
Nose is chocolate, caramel, spice, dark malts ... a little thin.
Taste comprises dark malts, dried fruit rinds, toffee, spice, cocoa sprinkle.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light rising boost.
Tidy old skool sipper.

500ml can. Almost black with a tan head. Aroma of cocoa, very rich, almost like a chocolate liqueur. Taste is very rich, plenty of cocoa, dark chocolatey bitterness, slight coffee-like notes, bitter boozy finish. Medium-full bodied.
