4th November 2023
Keg at the King's Head, Stamford. A light haze on this yellow gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light fluffy malts, a fluffy creamy sweetness. Good piney intro into light but really bright hop fruits, bright mandarin and tangerine, soft tropical fruits on the back end. Impressive. Very smooth but also bright hops in a truly sessionable beer.

Keg draught at the 2022 Rutland Beer Festival, Rutland County Museum. Light golden, its almost a straw-coloured beer. Thin white head. Gentle aroma of white grapefruit, some white grape and melon. Tastes sweet with the fruity hop character shining at the forefront. Bitterness seeps in mid-sip, some strong gooseberry disappearing among the bitterness which has become quite intense by the finish. A lovely little light pale.

Cask-conditioned at the Pelican, Gloucester 11/3/2022. Pale gold in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. A light, easy drinking, pale ale, with some sweetish malts, hay, a touch of stone fruit and moderately bitter finish. Good.
