Cask at the Bear, Paddington on 15th November 2025. Clear amber with shallow, lasting yellowy white foam and plenty of lacing. Strong malts and grassy hoppiness in aroma. Spicy and grassy in-mouth and a finish of bitter herbs blended with aniseed spiciness. Velvet smooth mouthfeel and a light body.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo. Cheers! Aroma is herbal, floral and very yeasty. Medium carbonation and quite bland, however it is very drinkable. Veg notes coming through on the aftertaste which I could have done without.

[bottle from The Real Ale Shop, Wrentham, Suffolk] Crisp, clean, light and refreshing with green herby overtones. A fantastic easy drinking, thirst quenching beer - I could happily knock back several of these after exercise!
