Sample at Ericka’s and Nihar’s Holiday Gathering on 12/18/2015. Brownish-black pour with a medium tan head that recedes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of bourbon, malt and dark chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, roast malt, chocolate and vanilla. The finish is oaky with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.
