Die „schwatte“ Bierspezialität wurde in der Liebharts Privatbrauerei auf Grundlage überlieferter Rezepturen neu erfunden. Die dunkle Seele des Bio-Schwarzbieres hat einen unvergleichlichen, röstigen und malzaromatischen Charakter.
Auch dieses Naturprodukt wird ohne Zusätze, wie Farb- oder Konservierungsstoffe, nach alter Tradition mit dunklen Spezialmalzen – speziell für uns hergestellt – und Aromahopfen schonend eingebraut und nicht filtriert. Die leichte Trübung und der Bodensatz sprechen für die natürliche Qualität des Produkts.
Kreiert im Varus-Jahr 2009 („Varus-Jahr-Edition“), gebraut und abgefüllt in Lippe-Detmold. Natürlich in Bio-Qualität.

Bottle. Pours cloudy brownish black with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with touches of yeast and hops. Bitter, roasty flavour with touches of malt and yeast. Roasty and hoppy aftertatste with estery touches. Decent.

Bottle, 4.6%.. Weak bready aroma. Very dark brown colour, seems unclear. Unstable off-white head. The flavour is bready with a little liquorice. Low bitterness. Mild and pleasant, but not so exciting.

0.5l flip-top bottle from bio shop at hannover train station, 1.79€. pours almost black with a small beige head. aroma of roast, coffee, liquorice. flavour of dark chocolate, roast, herbs. balanced bitter roasty finish. not too complex, but very drinkable.

Bottle. Black with a touch of brown. Short lasting head. Smells of roasted malt, chocolate and burned pig, maybe bacon. Slightly smoky. Taste: roasted malts, some chocolate and some hoppy bitterness. Short aftertaste. Low carbonation. Very watery. Easy drinking but there are better Schwarzbiere out there. Liebhart’s is a little brewery that specialises in organic beers so I would like to support them but unfortunately their beers never really hit the mark for me.

Fles gedeeld @Benzai’s Carnaval Tasting. donker bruin/rood met beige kraag. aroma van melkchocolade, zoetig, smaken zijn dun/waterig, melkchocolade, koffie, lichte toffee, zeer licht zuurtje, zwakke body, veel te dun dit.
