Growler pour @ Belgian Beer Geeks Autumn Gathering 2025 courtesy of the brewer direct from an Italian beer festival. Pours a deep hazed green, no head. Good to try a traditionally syruped Berliner.. quite sweet, kiwi fruit, a touch medicinal, nice.

Sort of growler at BBGG. Bubblegum, waldmeiser syrup, sour lemon, wheat, chemical aromas. Medium sweet, light sour. Over light bodied. Yuck.

Clear bright green beer, no head. Aroma: very sweet and sugary impression, a bit herbal Play Dough clay, marzipan. MF: no carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet sugary start, spicy touch, soft acidity, a bit oxidized, sweet. Aftertaste: some marzipan, a little herbal, sugary and sweet, very syrupy. Not the best, but we understood that the syrup wasn’t fully dissolved in the keg, and this was the bottom part, so being much more concentrated on the Waldmeister syrup.

Belgian Summer Beer Gathering, merci Klaas – un fond de fût d’une bière qui était uniquement disponible en festival en Italie.
Couleur verte, col blanc-vert.
Arôme est fris herbacé, douceur persistante se dégage au nez et cela tente de reproduire une Berliner comme cela se faisait avant une vague industrielle – donc par l’ajout d’herbes avec une petite sensation de pâte d’amande en support – cela se retrouve nettement plus présent en bouche.
Palais sur une base de berliner – citrique délicat avec un fini plaisant herbacé – petite touche presque de massepain. Malgré les conditions de conservation, dans une gourde, cette bière garde tout de même un caractère assez plaisant et intéressant.
