0,33 l blikje purchased from the brewery booth at Fisch & Feines 2024, Bremen. Cloudy dark golden to amber in the glass, small one finger white head. Malty aroma with some sweet alcoholic elements. Taste starts malty with sweetness. Getting a little bit more pale malty and dry. Some honey and nuts. Pale malty bitterness in the aftertaste. Little bit alcoholic. Below average carbonated. One of the better Heller Bocks.

A clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma of mid sweet pale malt, some herbs. Taste of sweet strong pale malt, honey, herbs.

Süffiger, röstig malziger Beginn. Hell, frische Herbe, angenehm hopfig. Gemüse. 10/7/8/7/9/7

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 16 July 2024) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of toffee, herbs, bread and grass. Malty taste with bread, toffee, herbs, a touch of brown sugar and a mild herbal/grassy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

0.33 l can from 'Drankgigant.nl', simply as 'Brouwdok / Noordt Meibock'. Slightly hazy, deep amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity-floral aroma of honey, pear, anise, some caramel and light grains. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, malty, moderately fruity-floral taste of grains, nuts, caramel, honey, anise, chamomile and some pear, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a bit dry finish. Medium to full body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not bad, but very unusual.
