Cream ale is idd geen kölsch. Het is ook geen dierenruin en ook geen spatiotemporeel sommatieproces. Het is wel een bier bijvoorbeeld. Een consumptie... Maar het is meer niet dan dat het wel is.

330ml bottle. Clear, dark orange, golden to amber colour with small to average, frothy, fading white head. Sweet-ish, minimally grainy and spicy, malty aroma, hints of corn, corn flakes, vanilla overtones. Taste is mildly bitter, leafy hoppy and sweet-ish, minimally grainy and spicy, malty, hints of corn, corn flakes, a touch of vanilla. Creamy-watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry plate, medium to fine, soft carbonation. Smooth, balanced, not too sweet - not totally boring, not really exciting.

0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before August 2025. A bit hazy, golden with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral, minimally grassy aroma of grains, some straw, a touch of honey and light lemon peel. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently fruity-floral, a bit grassy and even a little herbal taste of grains, corn, straw, some lemon peel and a touch of honey, followed by a short, gently bitter, a bit dry finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant ale, easy drinker, nicely bitter as well.

From the brewery. Gold with a fleeting, white head. Aroma promising stone fruit, dough and dankness. Taste is a touch sweet up front, finishing bittersweet with hints of dough, grains and vanilla. Medium-bodied, mild carbonation. Goes down easy and is mildly refreshing, but leaves no great impression otherwise.
