Our Congruity series harnesses the art of blending and collaboration to create a beer that transcends its individual elements. In May 2022, we invited our esteemed friends from Bofkont and Tommie Sjef to join us in Copenhagen along with base beer from what they considered to be their finest barrels, and we contributed a special blend of our one- and two-year-old Danish Wild Ale. A methodical blending and tasting session followed, where we eventually found a blend that cohesively showcases the best of each of our beers. This bottle is a combination of equal portions of the blend that were aged in Moscatel de Setúbal barrels from Portugal and Premier Cru wine barrels from Bordeaux, France for 16 months before bottling.

LCI. RIP. Lovely earthy funk. Acetic note, stone fruit—apricot peel, drying, lingering.

Bottle pour at BPBW ‘24. A beautiful mix of vineous fruityness, tannins and a bunch of other acids, loads of funk and a hint of grain sweetness. Intense, complex, layered. Great stuff

Pours unclear amberblonde. Small white head. Scent is beautifull, tart, oak, subtile fruityness. Barrels give a beautifull, complex endresult. Sure, it's easy to say I recognize the wines, but beyond that is also displays fruityness like apricot to me. Oak, very finely balanced. Taste is tart, dry, subtile but fairly intense at the same time - as the aroma's are refined, but not at all silent. Tartness is high, it's dry, oaky, fruityness far milder. Not at all a bad blend - impressively good if I'm being honest. Description wise, this sounds a lot like it'd be a geuze, but taste-wise, it reminds me more of a (great) amlam-like beer.

Tart, vinous and funky with some intense sourness, some oak, moscatel, farmyardy yeastiness. Pretty heavy
