Is it possible to be both subtle and forward at the same time? To be both bold and reserved? This lager is a hybrid between a traditional light lager and juicy IPA. Not quite an IPL (or a cold IPA) it's a brew all of it's own.

Can from the LCBO. Hazy yellow, medium white head. Light tropical notes, mostly lemon, hints of melon. Mouth feel feels too full for the style, carb is too soft. Lightly bitter, lemon, and malt cereals round it out.

Enjoyed at the Ottawa pub, July 18, 2022, pouring a hazy light golden-yellow with a white head and thin creamy lacing. The taste is mild with some decent citrus zest, on the orange side. Thin, juicy, lightly tart mouthfeel with just a tad dryness. Citrus light nose and slightly yeasty. A decent light hazy, citrus beer with some yeastiness and tartiness.

Vom Fass im Distillery District Toronto - trübes Gelb im Glas. In der Nase schön Grapefruit, im Trunk angenehme Frische, dezent trocken, Zitrus, spät feinbitter, top Sommerbier.

Hazy and pale. Pretty full head. Smells like old hop…there is some melon/stone fruit, too. Malts are thin, sort of remind me of a non-alc. So in going for pale ale and lager at the same time of course they do neither. Not sure why I would seek something like this out.

Poured from the tap. Hazy pale blonde with small white head. A bit of lemon and floral notes, kinda messy. Very Meh. Airport beer…

A hazed golden lager with a thick frothy lacing white head in. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with grassy hops, pineapple juice, OK. In mouth, sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light pineapple, OK. On tap at Craft Beer Market.
