Bottle @ Ulfborg Gueuze Tasting thanks to fonefan. Pours pitch black with a medium brown head. Fudgey, vanilla, light malt, chocolate, cocoa. Taste has bourbon, roast, fudge, bitter, licorice.

750ml bottle. Jet black colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige to tan head. Chocolately, dark malty aroma, hints of liquorice, fruity notes of cherry and plum, lately developing BA notes of oak, leather, vanilla, Bourbon. Taste is initially roasty, chocolately dark malty, dry notes of oak and leather, later slightly more sweet, with hints of caramel, toffee, vanilla, Bourbon, bitter hoppy counterpart, a touch of liquorice, minimally tart, fruity hints of morello and plum. Minimally disharmonious, heterogeneous, disintegrated at some stages.

Aus der Flasche im 2018-04 getrunken. Dieses tief schwarze Stout hat ein deutliches Aroma was von dem Bourbon Barrel Aged kommt. Herrlich! Am Gaumen schlägt überraschend ein kräftiges, sehr hochprozentiges Schokoladearoma zu. Nach 2-3 Schlücken gewöhnt man sich das dieses wirklich fettes Aroma. Das Imperial Stout ist nicht ganz leicht zu trinek ist aber besonders. Sehr gut gemacht und spannend - toll!

Huge yellow-beige head, stable and a bit irregular over virtually black beer. With a little delay, rich Bourbon, vanilla aromas, further laurel/bay leaf, conifer. Roast & sweet, Bourbon, vanilla, young oak, alcohol, esters. Bit of both chocolate and liquorice. Whereas the nose suggested laurel, here I would hazard a hint of mint. Rich bodied, alcoholwarmth, velvety & voluptuous. Medium carbonation. Nice !!

van fles @Benzai’s Anti-carnaval Tasting; 75cl, 9%. schenkt zwart met bruine fijne plakkerig kraag. aroma van chocolade, mouten en veel bourbon. Bottle @ Anti-carnaval Tasting. Opaque black color, average sized light brown color. Smell and taste malts, tannins, metallic a bit, a bit roasty, dark malts, red fruits, moderately bitter. Decent body, a bit thinner texture than I would have expected, carbonation is decent.

Bottle, thanks to Yourilevesque. Pours inky black with large spongy beige head, woodsy mocha aroma, medium carbonation, mocha taste with some wood and underlying bourbon, thick body, long medium bitter mocha finish, bourbon aftertaste. Fabulous, easy to drink despite the high alcohol content.

Bottle 750ml. [ As Le Bilboquet Corriveau Imperiale (fut de bourbon) ].Clear dark black brown color with a large to huge, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, dark malt, wood, alcohol - bourbon, light roasted. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood, roasted, chocolate, berry - fruity notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20160624]
