Can 0.5l, year and half aged. Lightly cloudy, red to black colored. AROMA- touch of wood and whiskey, roasted, a bit chocolate and coffee. FLAVOR- neutral, medium bitterness, roasted, coffee, dark chocolate, wood. Light, a bit watery body.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 33B: whisky oak chips / base: 18B). Can 50 cl - Batch 28.02.2025 00350 (BB: 28.02.2025). AROMA: medium-low old woody aroma. slight metal notes. low coffee-an-cream malt background. APPEARANCE: very dark brown color with reddish highlights. medium dark ivory head with medium retention. TASTE: initial medium-low woody flavor followed by medium-low roasted malt (slight coffee). medium-low bitterness with an almost dry finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low to low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a stout with added whisky oak chips with ok notes but where the whisky wasnt detected.

Can (from Funky Shop). Pitch black colour mediumsized beigeish brown head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is chocolaty, mild roasted tones with some mild nutty and a bit hoppy floral tones to it. Flavour is roasted tones, some chocolate and mild bitter hoppy tones. A bit coffeeish tones as well.

Dark ruby colour, small beige head. Toasted aroma is a bit coffeish and oaky. Light-bodied. Toasted, coffee in the flavour. Seems that whisky oak chips are useless in 4.5% stout.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, falls down quickly. Aroma: very malty, gentle roast, grains, hay, cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice, good roast, malty, chocolate, a little bitter, grains, hay, a bit hoppy. Aftertaste: a bit spicy, yeasty, roasted, chocolate, malty, grains, bitter, hint of caramel, nice stuff!

Trockener, holzig-vanilliger Beginn, hier scheint die Fasslagerung den Grundgeschmack des Bieres zu übertönen. Wenig röstig, mit der Zeit durchaus etwas süß, kurzer Abgang. Unstimmig. 9/7/7/7/11/7

Barwa niemal czarna, piana beżowa, niezbyt obfita, niezbyt trwała. W aromacie paloność, kawa. W smaku półwytrawne, lekka kwaskowość, trochę paloności, ciemnej kawy, gorzkiej czekolady. Goryczka niska do średniej, wysycenie do średniego, ciało w normie. Niezłe, choć brakuje pazura nieco.
