Thanks to Erzengel for this bottle. A little bit longer of the BB but who cares. Unclear red golden with an one finger white foamy head. Honey and caramel smell.Taste has some fruity elements, dry with hop, hay and malt with hints of leather to the end. Okay.

bottle form @minutemat, thanks, bright orange/golden with a white head. aroma of a typical English musty malty/caramel/butterscotch beer. Taste likewise, caramel, dry, slightly burnt, medium body, soft carbonation, biscuit malts, light citrus, some butter, earthy. --- Beer merged from original tick of 487th on 26 May 2018 at 15:01 - Score: 6

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks really nice, nice format. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Dry-malty aroma. Starts dry-malty, modest spicy, fine bitter notes. Hints of lemon. Light metallically. Well balanced finish, dry-bitter-malty. Nice!

Many thanks to minutemat for organising this bottle. Malty smooth beginning. Nice typicalGolden Ale flavour, easy to drink, very dry. Nice smooth malts there, moderate roasted bitter, very dry bitter in the end. Smooth and malty, round and refreshing, dry roasted with typical Ale yeast aroma there. Nice refreshing and still deep ale. Round and nice.

24th Feb 2018. 500ml bottle bought off minutemat and poured into my Abbot Ale pint glass tankard at home and shared with no one. Clear golden body, white head of speckled and thin bubbles. Nose had some light malty notes and maybe a little fruitiness, but not much of anything really. The taste is a pleasant blend of malts and fruity hops.

500ml bottle from the brewery online shop. Pours clear gold, receding white head. Pale malt, light floral elements on the nose. Taste is standard golden ale territory, medium-sweet malt, a little grassy, balanced, clean, good thirst-quencher.
