This beer was brewed in collaboration with White Labs Copenhagen. Leaning on White Labs’ yeast knowledge we decided to brew a beer that was fermented with a blend of our house yeast and their new Tropicale yeast which has the ability to activate more tropical fruit aroma and flavour into the beer.

Passionfruit, pineapple and mango to the max.

500ml Can - Murky light orange with a foamy head. Citrus, pine, some tropical notes but also some hints of smelly socks(!) in the aroma. The taste features notes of pine and citrus but also some earthy notes. Not a favourite.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 01/09/24. Murky dark marmalade orange topped with a lasting off white head. Nose is bitter orange, dank chimes, grapefruit, herb. Taste comprises orange shreds, grapefruit, melon, mandarin, toasted malts, pine nip. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness. It's okay ... comes over a touch heavy and clunky for my liking.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this orange gold beer, small but tidy pale cream colour head. Airy palate, smooth. Reasonable fine carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a nice light creamy sweetness. Smooth cooling pine. Soft but juicy hop fruits. Juicy, very slightly ripe, a little tropical fruits as well. Soft pine. A little hop spice on the light finish. Nice. Just has that Deya rightness that I have noticed a lot recently.

Tap at Taphouse, Copenhagen (15/06/2024) - Distinctive Deya aroma on the nose and taste follows, bright pineapple and citrus pomelo coming in, exotic passion fruit and lychee chiming in, creamy sweet malty backbone, solid hoppy close. Very nice.
