Wadwit is een witbier gebrouwen met zeewier uit de Waddenzee. Het wonder van een zoetwaterbron op een terp aan het wad was het begin van Dokkum als pelgrimsstad voor Bonifatius en opkomst als zeehaven met de Friese Admiraliteit. Zuiver water van de Bonifatiusbron draagt bij aan de bijzondere smaak van dit witbier van het wad.

A clear golden yellow beer with a white head. Aroma of herbal wheat malt, yeast, pepper. Taste of herbal wheat malt, spices, yeast. Easy to drink.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Opaque yellow colored brew with an dry bitter but thirst quenching taste, hints of lemon and coriander. Don't get the seaweed which is described on the label, but the image on that very label is pretty cool.

Bottle shared with Terje on board Baluba on the way from the Netherlands to Helgoland 09.09.23. Hazy straw colour. White head. Aroma and taste of wheat, dandelions and marmalade.

33cl Fles bij Booze Wijf, Lauwersoog. Troebel bleekgele kleur, witte kraag. Doperwtjes, moeras, wat korianderzaad, citrus, tarwe, veel teveel kookvocht en doperwtjes. Vrij dramatisch.

330mml. Bottle tasted on the 22/11/2018 at Groningen. Slightly hazy yellow colour with a medium and good lastinh white head. Aroma is coriander and other spices in addition to the yeast and the sweet malts. Taste is intense spiced with lot of coriander and pepper. Finish is extremely spiced. Next one please!

Bit herbal, bit salty, bit wittish. Needs something citrussy. Not great, but drinkable and local.

Etiket met Bonifatius Witte Piet tbv de nationale Sinterklaasintocht in Dokkum, daarna zal het bier een ander etiket krijgen met de naam wadwit. vandaar maar toegevoegd onder de naam Wadwit. schenkt bleek gouden met witte kraag. aroma van tarwe, koriander, citrus, gist en graan. Smaken van koriander, citrus, sinaasappel, mout, graan, matig zoet, zak zuur, zak tot matig bitter, er zit wel smaak aan, maar helaas ook wat zurig. --- Beer merged from original tick of Wad Wit on 17 May 2018 at 15:16 - Score: 6
