Pours black, small white head. Scent is full, roasty, mild barrel. Chewy sweetness. Mild rye spicyness. Taste is full, fullbodied, intensely sweet. Chocolate, rye spicyness. Full, bourbon barrel character. Balanced ! Tad simplistic though. To the sweet side, yet very well made and enjoyable.

Flaska från Mikkeller. Kolsvart med mörkbrun och ganska snabbt försvinnande mörkbrun krona. Choklad, bourbon, marsipan, likörpralin. Mycket fatkaraktär. Stor och samtidigt väl avvägd kropp. Mycket gott.

Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, barrel, alcohol - bourbon - vanilla - barrel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, barrel, chocolate, vanilla, dark malt, bourbon, wood - barrel - vanilla, roasted - coffee. Enjoyed on draft at Cycle Brewing. Dense, thick jet black pour, almost no head. Aroma is quite a bit mild for expectations of the style, though no complaints of any sort. The flavor is really interesting, in the best way possible. A good blend of spicy and sweet malts. Dense mouthfeel. Nice barrel treatment blended in. Whiskey, maple, soft spice. Flavorful linger with this big stout. Opposite of boring. Lots to talk about with this brew. Excellent!

From 650ml bottle. Black color with beige brown head. Malty aroma, roasted, chocolate, cocoa, light coffee, vanilla, light spicy, wood, light alcohol, whiskey. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Full silky oily to creamy boy with soft carbonation.

Bottle thanks to Homer! Pours inky black, medium creamy brown head, nice lacing. Aroma is molasses, bourbon, vanilla, cocoa, rich and desert. Flavor is fully sweet, light bitter, hints of rye spiciness but overall extremely well integrated beer. Full body, silky mouthfeel. Yummers.
