750ml (thx, Phill!) @ Matt's house. Appearance: hazy straw with a white head. Aroma: nice funk, minerals, a bit of oak. Taste: along the same lines, a bit bitter than lambics in general. Overall: it's almost as nice as Lambic, but still a bit not up to there.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy dull golden with a small white head. Aroma is very funky, with lots of barnyard funk (like a lambic), with intense white wine grapes, and some rustic notes. Flavour is aggressively funky, with tons of barnyard funk, champagne-like effervescence, and a touch of white wine grape skins. High carbonation, leaving minute traces of phenols. Love the funk, the high carb, and the subtle accentuation of grape. Honestly, this can compete with some good lambics.

Pale and a bit dull. The aroma is bright and vinous, with a bit of leatheriness to it. On the palate, there's a great grape note, and again a bit of leather. Good complexity to this. Balanced, this comes together very well.

Poured from 750mL bottle (bottled 04/2020). Fizzy hazed gold with small white head. Aroma of manure, lemon, funk. Taste of manure, funk, feint vinous notes. Enjoyable, maybe a touch too manure-y (more manure than horseblanket imo).

750 ml bottle from Cloudwater online store. The 4/20 version at 7.8%. Pours clear gold with a white cap. Aroma: musty funk, vinous, white grape / grape skins, some apple, lemon, cedar. Taste: moderate tartness, prominently dry. Medium body with spritzy carbonation.

(750ml 2019 bottle brought back from PDX years ago by my girl Phyllomedusa) Pours clear deep gold with a thick white head that fades slowly with a little lace. Aroma of petrol-heavy Riesling with candied lemon-lime peels/Sprite, green apple flesh, nice rich cheesy funk (though air backs the cheese down), a little musty attic funk, balanced neutral oak. Flavour is again really Riesling-forward again, a sprightly dry Rheinland vibe to it with lemon-lime, petrol, wet stone, some apple, a little aged but funky cheese, firm drying oak, dry straw and slightly musty attic, mineral crispness that matches the Riesling, only lightly tart up front with a little residual grape sugar and very dry during the majority of the sip, finish is extra dry and gripped by wet stone and oak with fine slightly chalky tannins from the grape maceration and a little cheesy funk into the aftertaste. Light to medium body, a bit oily, big filling carbonation.

750ml bottle. Vinous, oaky and heavy with grape notes, hints of sourness, tartness and riesling. Okay.

Bottle. Pours a hazy gold with small frothy head that lasts. The aroma is horse blanket, funk, oak, grape skins. Slick body, funky, brett, oak, vinous, dry finish, enjoyed this.
