Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 30A: cinammon / base: 20C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch undeclared (BB: 27/03/2034). AROMA: medium-high boozy aroma, almost varnish, followed by medium-low roasted malt (dark chocolate). APPEARANCE: very dark amber to brown color and opaque with slight ruby highlights. medium-low light brown head with low retention. TASTE: initial medium vinous flavor, followed by medium-low roasted maltiness (dark chocolate, slight prunes). medium bitterness with a semi-dry to dry finish and slightly roastiness. MOUTHFEEL: medium-high body with medium-low to low carbonation. alcoholic warmth perceptible. OVERALL: an imperial stout a bit with excessive alcohol presence and with cinnamon, but where the cinnamon is absent.

Tap at Borefts. Black with tan head. Toffee, sweet brown sugar, cinnamon, laurel, roasted malts. Medium sweet and less bitter. Full bodied.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, stable, non adhesive. Aroma: spicy, solvents, lots of alcohol, roasted, caramel, chocolate, hint of coffee, a bit chemical. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: alcohol up front, a little soapy, chocolate touch, bitter, a bit funky, some coffee. Aftertaste: bitter, roasted, dry, coffee, ok, not great.
