Can from Mr. Hop. Aroma is cocoa, roasted malt, coconut, chocolate, some candied (dark) fruity and syupy-sugary notes, cold coffee. Flavour is sweet with some tartness and a good roasty bitterness in the finish. Body is medium to full. Sweet and tart-ish Chocolate Stout with coconut and candied aromas, different and satisfying.

330 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with short tan head. Aromas of nutty dark chocolate, sweetened black coffee and soft roasted malts. Flavors of sweetened coconut, dark chocolate, soy, strong almost sour black coffee, and oily roasted malts. Interesting

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Etre Gourmet. Pours black-brown with a frothy, tan head. Medium to big sweet flavour with rounded dark malt character, some lightly gooey chocolate, mellow roast, booze, berries, liquorice, a hint of coffee, raisins. Medium to full bodied with fine, massaging carbonation and somewhat velvety texture. Sweet and almost sticky to finish, lightly warming, more chocolate notes, only very slight toasted coconut, more ripe berries, liquorice. Enjoyable stuff. More dark fruit character than your typical impy stout.

Aftertaste: good roast, slightly smoky, sweet, bit oxidized, coffee and liquorice still.

Dark colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have lots of rich cocoa. The coconut is, thankfully, quite muted. There's a sharp element like dark forest fruits too. Cocoa chocolatey finish.
