Can. Dark amber pour. Aroma of green apple, bourbon booze, caramel fudge, raisin, dates and malt. Taste has nice caramel fudge, bourbon vanilla, cherry, raisin, dates, some green apple and a nice boozy warming finish. I know this green apple thing probably should not be here, but it's not dominant in the flavor and kind of fits in, so no downpoints for it this time. Tatsy beer.

Can sourced from De Bierliefhebber and shared at home - hazed dark brown with a beige head. Toasted and sweet malty with notes of caramel and treacle, some dark dried fruit shred, singed brown sugar, medium plus body, spiced and wooden bourbon soaked accents into the rich sweet malty warming close. Lovely.

0.33 l can from 'Ace Drinks', best before October 2024. Almost clear, dark reddish brown with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, spicy and a little fruity aroma of caramel, molasses, lots of bourbon, vanilla and traces of wood. Very sweet, malty, slightly bitter, moderately fruity taste of caramel, molasses, raisins, massive bourbon and vanilla, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, gently warming and a bit boozy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Massive Barley Wine with lots of lovely bourbon flavours, unfortunately the can only has 33 cl of it. Good!

Surprise beer, kegged the day before. Unfortunately the barrel ageing has not done that well. Loads of barrel, tasting very solvent'y (the thing others call green apples). Very sweet, woody, but just one big, random mix of flavours.
