Draught Small white rim, fully hazy yellow beer. Serious load of asafoetida, even catty hops, unripe fruit. Catty hops repeating; exotic fruit and pear, asafoetida. Feels somewhat well-bodied, better carbonated than it looks. Hops - what went wrong?

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours quite hazy medium yellow with a decent white head and good lace. Aroma of pink grapefruit pulp, pale citrus peels, guava, white grape, mango flesh, fruit rinds, some leafy and dank 'green' hits. Flavour is off-dry, again very floral and 'pink' with pink grapefruit, guava, white grape, crushed flowers, red berries, some melon, touches of sweeter mango, slightly fruity yeast, retiring pale malts, fair amount of leafy dankness and grapefruit oils towards the finish, crushed flowers in abundance, lots of fruit rinds, quite dry in the finish with some definite astringent/sticky citrus oil and florals, very light hop burn. Medium-bodied, oily, soft carbonation. Solid floral and 'pink' DIPA, a little bit tough in the finish but I like the hop profile on attack quite a bit.

Can: Poured a cloudy pale yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of juicy hops notes with some citrusy hops undertones. Taste is a good mix of citrusy hops undertones with some juicy hops notes and floral undertones. Body is a bit below average for style with good carbonation. Well brewed but comes out a bit thinner then I would have liked.
