Bottle shared by The Wolf at Borefts BF 09. Black, thin beige head. It’s a decent stout. It’s got some fruit and some malt. Maybe could do with a bit more oomph from the malts.

Bottle, kindly shared by thewolf, thanks René! Black colour, beige head. Aroma of whisky, Belgian chocolates, coffee, very Belgian. Flavour is whisky, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, roasted malts. Nice bitterness, very smooth mouthfeel, fullbodied. Good stuff.

To celebrate my # 3600 rating. Draft @ Esbjerg Festival, 2009. Pours pitch black with a creamy lasting head and lacings. Nose and taste is roast, vague smoke, oat and a bit of whiskey. Very warm and smooth. Sippable with the whiskey and a tad of vanilla in the back. Full bodied. Very nice.

Sample at Esbjerg Beerfestival. Nice tan creamy head with excellent duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are vanilla, bourbon and roast malt. A little too much bourbon in my opinion.

Hand bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of thewolf. Pours a cloudy and opaque dark brown with an orange hue and a small beige head. Mellow and pleasant whisky notes dominate the nose blending in nicely with the hard roasted malts. Medium body, hard roasted malts, a little vanilla and pleasant and distinct whisky accents. Some malt bitterness and a little warming alcohol - did the whisky cask add some extra alcohol? A really nice barrel aging experiment from Kolding. 241009
