Bottle from the Lidl bumper bundle. Second fest beer of the evening, but I tell myself I'm allowed as its a Saturday, I've worked my arse off all day and my house is overrun with teenagers as its number 2 daughter's birthday night with her village gang. I've set them up in my pub at the bottom of the garden with cider and I'm hoping for a peaceful night. Trying to work out when I should start cooking for them..... Anyway, I'm rambling. The beer is ok, but perhaps a bit sweet?? I've definitely had better, but its ok.

clear darker golden colour, medium sized dense white head; aroma of grainy, grassy, herbal hoppy, some buttery and slight citrusy notes; taste of some hoppy bitterness, some sourness and the same notes as can be felt in the aroma; correct one

Bottle. Liggles box. Love a Liggles box. Clear gold. Very decent thick white foam stays the course. Easy 10. Nose has sour grain. Cut grass. Bit metallic. Taste has a corny sweetness and a light grassy bitterness. Bit syrupy overall. Light bitter finish. Ok.

Bottle picked up from Globus Plattling (Kalea mixed pack of 12) and consumed at home cooking Czech Kyselica Soup whilst listening to ByteFM. Pours clear warm honey gold colour excellent clarity, a white head that disappeared swiftly. Pleasant mouthfeel, some sweetness, there is a little fruity tang, light maltiness. Nothing special but it's fine.

Klare goldgelbe Farbe, gemischtporige, mäßig stabile Schaumkrone; in der Nase zurückhaltend, getreidig und hellmalzig, etwas blumiger Hopfen; im Geschmack leicht würzig und malzig, hintergründiger Hopfen, dezente Süße, mittlerer Körper, wenig Kohlensäure. Insgesamt relativ langweilig.

Der Grantler wird festlich und schaut dabei aber genauso zwider drein 😠
So ist das Bier ein bayrisches Märzen und damit schwerer, aber auch vollmundiger als die österreichischen Märzen.
Es hat einen schönen runden Körper und lässt sich angenehm trinken 🏂.
Ein Bier bei dem man nicht viel begranteln kann.

500 ml can from the Kaldea pack. Nutty, toasty nose with light caramel, wheat bread, and light citrus hops. Medium to pale amber, tall rocky head. Sweet malt, fruity, light oxidation, toast, caramel. Dry, toasty finish with light to medium bitterness. Somewhat light body. Not bad. Definitely not as fresh as it could be.
