33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Edrinks, Eindhoven. Dutch brewery #343. Hazy dark amber with a white head. Spicy yeasty aroma with some caramel. Bittersweet taste with a estery bitter finish. Quite strange and old-fashioned at the same time but I tend to like it.

Dark golden colour. Aroma and flavour have a little fruity hop and fresh light wheaty notes. Plain but ok.

Thanks to Kermis. 330 ml. bottle sampled. Hazy orange, little head. Nose is dull grain, soap, BE / NL spoiled yeast,… Taste is fizzy spoiled soap, yeast, poor BE / NL, spoiled fruit, poor in old style. Pass.

0.33 l bottle from 'Speciaal Bier Winkel', best before January 2020. Slightly hazy, dark amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, gently fruity, slightly resiny and a bit floral aroma of orange jam, dried apricot and some pine. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, gently fruity, a bit resiny and a little floral taste of caramel, orange jam, dried apricot and hints of pine, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly resiny finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent, definitely well-made but not as hoppy as expected.

Bottle @ home. A bit unclear dark orange color, average sized white head. Aroma is malts, wheat, weirdly enough I get raisins. Taste malts, again lightly something that reminds me lightly of raisins, a bit sweet and a bit bitter. Very weird. How is this any sort of pale ale? It tastes like a low ABV Barleywine to me. Not bad, just weird and definitely not what you'd expect based upon the label.
