A dark red beer with a thin, foamy head. The aroma is slight and sweet and the flavour is heavy malt and fruit but with a nice sharp, bitter aftertaste which balances it out very well. A very nice seasonal beer.

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours clear amber with a creamy, beige head. Nose holds some ripe fruits, dirt, leaves. Medium sweet flavor, some bready malts, berries, plums, hints of chocolate and coffee. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet finish, nice coffee notes, more fairly ripe, sweetened berries, nips of chocolate. Quite tasty stuff, in fact.

Bottle @ Y.N.W.A Beershop, Kolding. Pours ruby amber with a small off white head. Rich malty - caramel, nuts, fruit and a mild spicy note. Smooth with a rather low carbonation. Pleasant.

Very dark brown colour. Aroma and taste of dark bittersweet malts. Very well balanced beer with a rich, warming finish.

Bottle shared with Veitafan. Pours a clear reddish brown colour with a small beige head. Careful aroma of some wood, leather, malt, rye bread, dried fruit and hint of chocolate. More pronounced flavour of the same but with a fruityness that feels a bit belgian. Nice. Has a slick mouthfeel, and a light bitterness. A balanced and good Christmas ale.

Dark brown with a thin head.  Aroma is malty, almost almondy with a slightly fruity accent.  Sweet character, a brown ale with nutty character and a touch of dryness in the finish.

0.5l bottle. This is a light blurry deep ruby colored one with a medium sized bubbly beige top. On the nose I get dark fruits, dark caramel, a little bit of sweet chocolate and hints of licorice and brown sugar. Nice non-extreme one. It's slightly below average on the carbonation and it has a light oily mouthfeel. Flavors are a bit pungent, but not in a directly bad way. Dark malts, more thin licorice, dark slightly burned and bitter caramel and traces of fruits. Ends with a present bitterness and slightly copper-ish and earthy thing reminding of burned rye bread in the aftertaste. It has a decent flavor this. Twelve days? What does that even mean? Wait a minute; That label? is that a partridge in a pear.. DAMMIT! Now I got that song on my mind! 29.11.2012

50cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, Vika. Pours clear dark brown with a reddish hue and an off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, spices, caramel and dark dried fruits. Medium sweet with roasty, bready and caramelly flavour and a surprisingly nice bitterness in the finish. Nicely balanced and easy to drink.

From a 500ml bottle on 8/7/2012. Pours a clear dark red brown with a medium fine head. Has some bready and caramel malt in the aroma, along with some fruit. The flavour is quite intense with dark/stewed fruit, nuts, and a rich maltiness which features caramel, toffee, chocolate, nutty and roasty notes. The body is full and the bitterness firm. This actually comes across bigger than 5.5% and feels like a bit of a winter sipper. Nice stuff.
