Hazy orange pour, fluffy sticky head. Oak, funky lamic like aroma. The hops are still very present but the barrell really added some great oaky funk! Flavour is quite tangy and vinuous, with more great funk. Very interesting! The Pinot barrel really did some interesting stuff.

Bottle at tasting, thanks Tim. Orange, bit hazy, white bubbly head. Aroma is funky, cream cheese and chive, lots of funk. Taste is nice, bit sharp, quite fruity, lots of grapes, flat creaminess. Nice winey backbone. Like it a lot. --- Beer merged from original tick of Dernière Volonté en fût de Pinot Noir on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 9 | Flavor - 9 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 9. 341ml bottle (thx, Alex M.!). Bottled in January 2015. Three varieties of Dernière Volonté in a row. Pours a slightly hazy deep golden with a white head. Aroma is very fruity with loads of pinot noir notes. Taste is similar, quite dry. I would prefer more sweetness, but it is very good stuff.

Fine solid head and apricot coloured body. Good mix of brett notes on the nose, yeast, tanginess. Nice crisp citrus hoppy flavour and dry finish. Well made, nicely drinkable.

Part of their Dernière Volonté Anthologie 4-pack mixer - Réserve 2015. Pours a hazy golden-orange colour with a creamy warm cap, great retention and loads of lacing. Wow, the Pinot Noir works very well in the nose with the floral aromas of fresh grass and spices. Hints of wood as well. The taste has the hops at first, but balanced with vanilla notes from the oak. Not much of the wine in the flavours though, but what a great aged brew.

Botle from tderoeck. Many thanks! Nose of red wine, well balanced with the base beer. Light sweet, light tart. Refreshing. Good.

Bottled Jan 2015, drunk 2/20/16. Apples, grapeskins, light pear and some mushy cereal grains behind it. Not a huge aroma but pretty mellow. Hazy goldenrod with a small white head that fades to bubbles. Soft, creamy rather grapey texture with vanilla, wood, nectarine, butter, and gooseberry/cloudberry. Other than the cloudberry thing going on, its very muddled and i have no idea what was intended here. Dont think the barrel did much here but it has been a while since ive had the base beer. But its still pleasant enough
