Svart. Mokkafarget skumring. Kakaoaroma. Smaken sjokolade & lakris. Tørr, litt søtlig bitter avslutning.

Cask at St Andrews Brewhouse, Norwich. Ruby-black with a thick tan head. S mild-flavoured, easy-drinking porter with milk chocolate and a gentle roasted barley note being the main flavours. It's got a smooth mouthfeel but it's a bit watery. It's ok overall if a bit forgettable.

Black color with a fine beige head. Ok lacing. Good intensity in the aroma. Fine body and a pleasant carbonation level. Fine balance between sweetness and bitterness. Dry ending. Coffee, roast and some licorice in the flavor. Nice one.

Taste comprises roast malts, light charr, liquorice, toffee, chocolate, light fruit tang. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close. Ok porter ... best of their own offerings for me.
