Bottle from Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden on 27th December 2015. Pours hazy amber with almost no lacing from its loose, shallow disappearing foam. Richly citric hoppiness in aroma with mild peppery savoury notes. Citric fruits in-mouth with rounded, nutty malts. A grassy hop finish. A delectable bottle.

Bottle from Birratrovo, Como, Bottled 02.11.15, bb 02.03.16
Hazy blond color. The lean base is very nice, delicate, not obtrusive, a bit crackery; it leaves ample room for the hops; aroma and aftertaste are moderately musky and fruity.
Subtle character, and excellent balance. Very nice Pale Ale.

Old Fountain. Keg. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, light fine carbonation. Light and smooth creamy malts, sweetish. Hops are mild skunk, modest orange and a little piney coolness, trace of mint. Smooth finish with a mild hop skunky linger. Very drinkable but perhaps unsurprisingly lacks the punch of it’s big IPA brother.
