Old rating from 14-10-16 - A 330ml bottle at Relish in Jersey. Pours a hazy golden beer with a long lasting foamy white head. Aroma has citrus, hops, mango & pineapple. Tastes of citrus, mango, orange, pineapple, peach, grapefruit, grapes & hints of spice. Light bodied & medium carbonation. Aftertaste has a soft fruity bitterness. Outstanding, and hard just to stop at one!

Bottle from the brewery in Bermondsey and drunk at home. Hazy orange gold colour lasting white head. Lovely citra grapefruit aroma. A little flatter in the mouth than I was expecting. Good grapefruit I guess. Light carbonation. I had an IPA before this so had to adjust to a light ABV beer. Actually this got better as I drank it. The 500ml disappeared real quick. I think The Kernel does Citra better than anyone else. Actually turned out to be really very good indeed. Loved it. I just chilled it too much and had it after an IPA. my bad.

Bottle. Arcade Beers, Huddersfield. Cloudy gold, with a few floaters. Kernel head. Nose has nicely punchy, citrus rind and peel. Some grapefruit flesh. Hint of peach and apricot. Taste has a soft, fruit sweetness, turning citrus rind bitter. Soft carbonation, with a vibrant punch of juiciness. Finish is all of that, with a light, dry close. Super stuff.
