Bottle picked up from Gdansk Airport, Poland, split with the Mrs - pours almost clear amber with a fast dissipating off white head. Toasted and sweet malty aroma and taste, some caramel and toffeish sweetness, straw hay, bready malts, grainy, pretty basic stuff.

Bottle. Pale amber with a frothy white head. Aroma of biscuity malt, flowers, light spices. 6+ A bit on the thin side with moderate carbonation. Sweet and biscuity with enough bitterness to keep you interested. Unfortunately slightly metallic. OK and in better nick than much of the German stuff that finds its way here.

Täysin kirkas, kuparinruskea olut ei vaahtoa juuri lainkaan (2). Tuoksu pääasiassa maltainen (3). Maku maltaisen makea ja metallinen. PIstelevä kielen päällä. RUnsashiilihappoinen. Heikko esitys.

Bottle, 0.50, courtesy of Adam, shared with colleagues. Pours clear brown color with thin and quickly diminishing off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of toffee, paper and grass. Taste starts with moderate sweet malt and toffee, follows woody and papery with moderate grassy bitter finish. Light to medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Disappointment, although expectations were not really high...

Bottle from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours copper with an off-white head. Aroma of sweet, slightly toasty malt. Smells like Märzen. Near med body. Mild malt and a somewhat grapey hop. Fairly clean. Mildly bitter. Better than many Märzens I’ve tried.

Barwa ciemny bursztyn, piana obfita, drobnopęcherzykowa ale znika bardzo szybko. Słodowy i lekko słodki aromat, w smaku podobnie. Niska goryczka, trochę zapychające ale pijalne.

Bottle from my brother. Thanks! Clear amber colour, white foam. Nose of caramel, bit metallic, light sweet and malty. Light bitterness in the finish. Ok beer.

Bottle. Aroma is heavily malty, with a little bit of basement. Light bitterness. Quite good.

Bottle, danke Günther. Dark amber, golden head. Fat fruity grain nose. Medium body, could be slightly chewier, mellow mouthfeel. Ok balance between grainy and herbal hops. Light juniper-plant in the finish. Alright, not worse than the plonk you get at the Oktoberfest for sure.
