Our Hoppy Golden Ale is brewed as a traditional English session bitter, using a good balance of American Summit and Cluster hops gently added late in the boil, and a touch of roasted barley to give it an inviting copper colour.

Cask @ Williams Ale & Cider House, London. Golden with a bubbly head. It’s a pale ale with a mild sticky-sweet texture.

Cask at the Swan, Amblecote. Pours dark gold with a small head. Aroma is straw, lemon and a touch of harsh chocolate. Taste is straw throughout with a slightly acrid finish.

Bottle shared at Garvie’s. Pours perfectly clear gold with a creamy white head. Simple doughy white bread on the nose, faint butter. Light sweet flavor with flavor with faint grassy bitterness, white bread, lemon rind. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate sweetness on the finish, some grass, grains and hay. Fine.

Gravity at the 13th Egham BF @ EUSC - 15/11/12. Lightly hazed pale golden with a thin white head that soon dissipates to the edge. A little honey on the nose, piss, light grapefruit, some hop presence. Tastes of pale malts, slightly bitter fruit notes, citrus, touch of spice. Medium bodied with soft carbonation leading to a bitter finish. Average.
