Third of a pint, hand-pulled on 8th April 2022 in The Picture House (a Spoons in Stafford). Not in great condition to be honest, looked fine but it had been opened a while I think. Red hue to the deep amber body, full off-white head that soon departed. Dull malty front with a dank hop feel, scored objectively.

Cask at Moon under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours a rich ruby red with a small off-white foamy head. Sweet malts are the mainstay of the aroma. #in the mouth it is slightly sweet with berry fruits to the fore, and caramel lurking underneath. After a while there are traces of hops and spices. Finish is quite fruity. Not bad at all.

Cask-conditioned at The Berkeley (JDW), Bristol 14 February 2022. Deep amber in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. Red berry fruit character, a touch of leafy hop and character, with some digestive malts leading to a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading.] A chestnut pour with a thin beige head; biscuity malt aroma; creamy body and a light malty taste; then a biscuity finish with a touch of spice. A basic malty bitter.

Creamy tan head stayed on a chestnut coloured still body. Sweet, alt & caramel aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with lighter clean back. Sweet berries, jam, malt & caramel tastes with a tangy finish. Could do with being more bitter on the finish.

Half-pint, keg, guest beer at Hand in Hand, shared with Finn. Clear copper coloured body. Spotty lacing, filmy layer. Moderate malt-fruity smell. Blended taste of caramel, biscuit and dark fruits followed by a bittersweet finish. True to the style, more or less. (Brighton 17.10.2019).
