Keg at the Foundry Brewpub, 14/09/21. Golden amber with a decent egg shell white cap. Nose carries light floral notes, grass, citrc zest, pale malts. Taste comprises melon, sweet malts, tangerine, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow hop bitterness. OK trad ipa ... bit off pace in the modern era but tasty enough with our BBQ platter.

From cask at Foundry Brew Pub, Canterbury, Kent, with Ian, OGJ and EE on trip to 22 southern counties 06.01.19. Translucent dark golden. Foamy off-white head and lacing. Decent aroma and taste of dried tropical fruits, succade, marmalade and pale malt. Exceptionally low bitterness for an IPA.

3/I/19 - on cask, shared with the misses @ Foundry brewery (Canterbury), BB: n/a - (2019-6)

Clear dark orange to amber beer, small creamy yellow head, very stable, bit adhesive, leaving some patches of lacing in the glass when drinking. Aroma: some tropical fruits, cheesy, touch of mango. MF: no carbon, medium to light body. Taste: malty start, quite some caramel, sweet and malty, soft bitterness, grains. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, cheesy hops, more of that malty sweetness, grains, cow fodder, bitter finish, little buttery (butter scotch), some diacetyl I take it. Where's all that Citra, Centennial and Simcoe???

At the Foundry, Canterbury - Pours a slightly hazy orange amber colour with a small creamy off white head. Aroma is sweet malts, tropical fruits and oranges. A moderately sweet taste, some caramel, orange peel flavours and a grassy hop bitterness.

Keg at the Foundry - Canerbury. Pours clear my hearty gold with a creamy, off-white head. The nose holds pine needles and crackery malts. Light-medium sweet flavour with more pine needles, dried citrus peel, some jammy orange, grassy bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with light pithy citrus, more bitter grass and peel, ripening orange, dried pale malts. Not bad.

Keg at the brewery. Dark orange / amber coloured pour with a lasting off white head. Aroma is sweet caramel biscuit, candied hop, berry and touch of orange. Flavour is caramel, bitter orange peel, rough assertive grassy bitterness. Some lingering hot alcohols in the finish. Palate is highly carbonated, and medium bodied. Maybe some signs of a ferment problems.
