Cask @ The Foundry, Canterbury. Pours a ruby amber, surprisingly not completely dark for a porter though probably a traditional hue. Creamy beige head. Fantastic porter overall, lovely variety of flavours, soft roast, deep fruity nuances, robust bitterness.. very nice.

From cask at Foundry Brew Pub, Canterbury, Kent, with Ian, OGJ and EE on trip to 22 southern counties 06.01.19. Translucent pale copper. Head is dimishing to absolutely nothing. No lacing. Sweet aroma and taste of caramel water and hints of liquorice. Few hints of roasted barley or roasted malt. Flat - even for a cask ale.

Cask at the Foundry. Pours unclear amber-brown with a frothy, off-white head. The aroma holds light roast, toffee, burnt nuts, earth. Light sweet flavour with semi-dark malts, touches of leathery fruits, raisins, prunes, faint toast. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finaihes with more ripening berries, subtle earthy bitterness, toasted mats, faint toffee. So so overall.
