Bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with stable loght tan head. Clear aroma of fruit and yeast, with mild notes of citrus and malt. Bitter, hoppy and citric flavour with notes of roast and yeast and malty touches. Bitter, hoppy and citric aftertaste with estery notes. Decent, but I cannot see any influence of barrel ageing.

Bottle, 6.8%. Distinct fruity hop aroma. Cloudy very dark brown colour. Good stable light brown head. The flavour is nicely hoppy and finishes with a good roasted note. Slightly spicy. Good. 738317

Nearly black, lasting beige head. Pine and grapefruit aroma, roast and light coffee notes, some moldy wood. Bitter flavour, grapefruit and dark chocolate. Fluffy mouthfeel, seems a little light at first but is actually rather flavourful. Long roasted bitter finish.

0,5l bottle at home. BB 22.06.2018. black color, small tan head. smells earthy, grassy, spices, peppery, light dill, peppery, tobacco. ok smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, grassy, dill, light veggies, peppery, tobacco, almost leathery. finishes dry and lightly bitter with notes of tobacco, grass and dill. okish, still I dont know why someone would age hop forward beers, unfortunatly there is also no enlightenment for me with this beer. weird and even unpleasant combination.

Bottle at LKS - thanks to Ken. It pours dark - deep brown with a small beige head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, rich roasted malt, chocolate sponge cake, toasty, oily, floral and earth. The taste is dry, bitter, toasty, charred wood, umami, burnt toast, brown bread, peppery spice and wood with a dry, charred finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Not so bad.
