15000th rating! Deep dark red purple colour. Aroma has lots of blackcurrant also some slightly funky, musty notes too. Taste has layers of jammy sweet blackcurrant, gentle rounded woodiness and a sharp, tart berry finish. Extremely fruity.

Bottle. Color: Deep purplish red, purple head. Wow! Great color. Aroma: Rural funk, very fruity blackberry. Taste: A lot of blackberry, very fruity. Quite dense and smooth mouthfeel. Moderate tart, light sweetness. Subtle rural and lightly leathery funk. Dry finish. Some oak wood. Great taste too! Another wonderful blend from Mark Henke.
